Hello, I’m Jane

I’m a graphic designer with a background in broadcast.

I started early with the introduction of the first digital graphics system, the Quantel Paintbox, an invention that transformed the global industry overnight.  It was ingenius, with a fluid stylus and a tablet so large, actions were completed with a dramatic stroke of the pen, the images glowing in the dark.  We take our tech for granted now, but the pioneers of CGI deserve a nod.  There’s nothing quite like painting with light.

And there’s nothing quite like the intense light of Australia.  The bush downunder inspires: the rich colours, striking textures and distinctive forms, heightened by sun, rain and snow.  My patterns celebrate this exuberance.
